03/19: Unstable bindist for Leopard (i386, Pango/Cairo)

We are now testing Fink's unofficial binary distribution for Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) !

Note (as usual)

This distribution and this article have NO WARRANTY.
For now, only i386 binaries are available.
Don't hesitate to leave any comments.

Settings

Append this line to your /sw/etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://fink.sodan.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/apt/10.5 unstable main crypto

then exec fink selfupdate, and try fink install somepackage as usual.

Perhaps more complete howto will be here in the future. Or maybe another fink hacker will post some informative comments (I hope).

Tip

You can see which packages are actually available, by directly check Packages.gz file .

These binaries are built on CVS pangocairo-branch, not on CVS HEAD. If you want to get the fink-tree of pangocairo-branch, see Fink:Packaging:The Great Gnome Update.

Your desired option may be accepted as the default option ;-)

I have just checked my fink.info, the gnumeric depends on libglade2-shlibs rather than glade3.
I am not sure what is wrong there.

for your reference, I am using the "fink-0.28.1" in leopard.
